Generator Winder Specialist/ Testing - Siemens Energy, Dammam KSA

A Snapshot of Your Day:

As a Generator Winder Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic ramp-up of new generator fleet developments while ensuring the reliability of our existing aging fleet in Saudi Arabia. You will engage in meaningful projects focused on high-quality stator winding, conducting rigorous inspections, and executing repairs that directly enhance service operations and fleet performance. How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Perform complete rewinding of generator stators, including coil removal, manufacturing, and installation.
• Execute high-quality brazing, taping, and blocking of winding components per engineering specifications.
• Assemble and disassemble large generator components for maintenance and repair activities.
• Conduct comprehensive electrical tests on windings, including insulation resistance and high potential (Hi-Pot) tests.
• Inspect generator components for wear, damage, or defects, particularly on stator cores and windings.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities while adhering to EHS protocols.
  
  
  

What You Bring:

• Technical diploma or vocational degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Generator Winder or in a similar heavy electromechanical repair role.
• Demonstrated experience with the winding and repair of large-scale power generators, including stators and rotors.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and quality control practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
