We are seeking an EHS Manager to join our manufacturing site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role will be responsible for leading and continuously improving Environmental Compliance, Process Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety activities at the site while ensuring alignment with Huntsman's global EHS standards and Zero Harm culture. The successful candidate will also be an active member of Huntsman's wider EHS network, working closely with global subject matter experts and the EHS Center of Excellence.
We are looking for a confident, influential, and independent EHS leader who is able to challenge the status quo, drive a strong safety culture, and effectively engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who combines technical EHS expertise with excellent communication skills and the ability to positively influence site leadership and operational teams.

Role Responsibilities
As a EHS Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the site's EHS Management System, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable legal requirements.
- Act as the site's primary EHS leader and focal point for Environmental, Health, Safety, and Process Safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational safety, and process safety regulations, maintaining readiness for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Drive the implementation of Huntsman's Zero Harm strategy and strengthen the site's safety culture through visible leadership and employee engagement.
- Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), risk assessments, and hazard identification activities, ensuring effective mitigation and closure of actions.
- Support key process safety programs, including Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and safe work practices.
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and sharing of lessons learned.
- Oversee critical safety programs including Permit to Work, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), contractor safety, confined space entry, work at height, and chemical handling controls.
- Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with reporting, waste management, emissions, and pollution prevention requirements.
- Deliver EHS training, coaching, and awareness programs to employees and contractors to reinforce accountability and safe behaviors.
- Prepare and communicate EHS performance reports, compliance updates, key risks, and action plans to site leadership and relevant stakeholders.
We are looking for experienced candidates with hands-on EHS experience
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of EHS experience within chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or other high-hazard manufacturing environments.
- Fluent English required; Arabic language skills are preferred
- Strong knowledge of EHS, Process Safety, Risk Management, and Environmental Compliance.
- Proven experience driving safety culture, EHS programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
- Strong influencing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a standalone EHS leadership role.
- OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent internationally recognized EHS certification.
- Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC), and Process Safety Management (PSM) is preferred.
