About the location:

Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

About The Role

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and service-driven Director of Technology Innovation & Data to join the opening team at Four Seasons Hotel Madinah. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, security, and maintenance of all technology systems across the property, including computer systems, network infrastructure, data systems, voice communications, hospitality applications, and guest-facing technology.

In this role, you will ensure that all hotel and corporate technology systems support operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and business continuity. You will also be responsible for executing hotel and corporate technology strategies, forecasting future technology needs, and planning upgrades to improve the effectiveness, reliability, and security of installed systems.

As a department leader, you will play an important role in supporting both guests and employees with technology needs, while building a strong IT team that delivers responsive, professional, and solution-focused service.

What You Will Do

• Lead and oversee all Information Technology operations, including systems infrastructure, network performance, data and voice communications, hardware, software, and hospitality applications.
• Ensure critical hotel systems are available and supported twenty-four (24) hours per day to maintain business continuity and operational efficiency.
• Execute hotel and corporate technology strategies, ensuring alignment with Four Seasons standards and business objectives.
• Provide technical support and solutions for guests, employees, and hotel operations, ensuring a high level of service and response.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce system security procedures, user access controls, data protection practices, and IT policies.
• Oversee product lifecycle management for hardware and software, including upgrades, replacements, and long-term capital planning.
• Prepare and manage IT operating and capital budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology planning and resource allocation.
• Assist the Director of Finance in administering IT-related maintenance agreements, service contracts, vendor relationships, and technology procurement.
• Take a leadership role in defining contract scope, supporting negotiations, and participating in bidding processes for IT services and systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
• Maintain strong knowledge of hospitality applications, interfaces, property management systems, point-of-sale systems, and related hotel technologies.
• Participate in regional systems meetings, share best practices, and implement relevant technology improvements.
• Support pre-opening activities, system installations, testing, user training, and technology readiness across all departments.
• Recruit, lead, coach, train, and develop the IT team, creating a supportive and continuous learning environment.
• Promote the Four Seasons Golden Rule by creating a respectful, collaborative, and service-oriented workplace.
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Director of Information Technology, IT Manager, or senior technology leader within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Previous hotel opening or pre-opening experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality systems, applications, interfaces, networks, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology support operations.
• Strong business, resource, and project planning experience, with the ability to align technology solutions with operational needs.
• Excellent troubleshooting, network-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial understanding, including experience with IT budgeting, capital planning, procurement, contracts, and vendor management.
• High level of integrity, transparency, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and technology updates to senior leadership.
• Passion for developing people and promoting a continuous learning environment.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
