Key Responsibilities for Delivery Driver

• Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles to deliver products and materials to various locations, following all road safety regulations and company policies.

• Timely Deliveries: Ensure all deliveries and pickups are made on schedule, providing prompt service to both internal teams and external customers.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and operational at all times.

• Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, manifests, and any necessary paperwork, maintaining clear and organized records.

• Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers and team members, addressing inquiries or issues efficiently.

• Compliance: Adhere to all company guidelines for transportation, loading/unloading, and handling of materials.

Driver Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a driver in logistics, delivery, or a related field is preferred.

• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; additional certifications (such as a commercial driver’s license) are a plus.

• Safety Awareness: Demonstrated knowledge of road safety practices and defensive driving techniques.

• Reliability: Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with the ability to manage schedules efficiently.

• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move goods and spend extended periods driving or on your feet.
