About the Role
The Dealer Sales Engineer – DX & VRV will be based in Jeddah and will drive Daikin’s DX & VRV Products (Split, SkyAir, Ducted, VRV, and Packaged Systems) business through the dealer network across the Western Region. You will be responsible for developing, supporting, and managing dealers to maximize sales of Split, Ducted, VRV, and Packaged DX Solutions. This role focuses on channel expansion, revenue growth, and strengthening dealer capabilities while maintaining Daikin’s premium positioning in the market. You will serve as the key link between Daikin and its dealer partners, combining technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to drive business growth and enhance channel performance.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Drive sales of Daikin DX products (Split, SkyAir, Ducted, VRV and Packaged Systems) through the assigned dealer network.
- Achieve assigned sales targets including bookings, revenue, margins, and collection goals.
- Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers to expand market coverage and strengthen channel presence.
- Build strong relationships with existing dealers to increase loyalty, engagement, and business volume.
- Support dealers with product selection, pricing, and technical guidance to close opportunities effectively.
- Conduct regular dealer visits, joint customer meetings, and market visits to generate demand and track pipeline.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations and follow-ups for order conversion.
- Monitor dealer performance and implement improvement plans to enhance productivity and sales efficiency.
- Train dealer sales teams on Daikin products, applications, and competitive positioning.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Logistics, Finance, Service, and Marketing) to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and payment collection as per agreed terms.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and CRM updates.
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and dealer events to increase brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and channel management frameworks.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Dealer/Channel management for DX & VRV Products (Split, SkyAir, Ducted, VRV, and Packaged Systems) within the KSA market.
- Strong technical know-how of DX & VRV systems including splits, ducted, and packaged units.
- Experience working with dealer/distributor networks in the KSA market.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing channel partners.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing and negotiations.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Good technical aptitude with the ability to support dealers on product selection and applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
