Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea, positioned in the Kingdom’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to a nature-focused resort. Job Description

Raffles The Red Sea is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. As the Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the hotel's credit operations, ensuring financial stability, and maintaining positive relationships with our esteemed clientele.

  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize financial risks
  • Analyze credit applications and assess creditworthiness of corporate clients and travel agencies
  • Manage accounts receivable and oversee debt collection processes
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to establish credit limits and terms for clients
  • Monitor and report on credit portfolio performance, identifying trends and potential risks
  • Negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes with delinquent accounts
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations
  • Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management
  • Implement and maintain credit management software systems
  • Train and supervise credit department staff
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Credit Professional (CCP) or Certified Credit Executive (CCE) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and credit risk assessment techniques
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems
  • Experience with international clientele and understanding of global financial practices
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian financial laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
