ROLE SUMMARY:
The Consultant, FI/CO is responsible for the implementation, support, enhancement, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions. The role partners with business stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant, and efficient financial processes, ensuring effective integration, system governance, audit readiness, user adoption, and continuous improvement aligned with the organization's digital transformation objectives.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Operations, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver SAP Finance solutions.
• Configure and maintain SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, treasury and Profitability Analysis.
• Support integration between SAP Finance and other enterprise applications, including MM, SD, PM, HCM, banking systems, reporting tools, and external applications.
• Support SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, migration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and user guides.
• Coordinate with SAP functional teams, technical teams, integration teams, and external vendors to deliver enhancements and resolve complex issues.
• Provide functional support for incidents, service requests, system issues, and business process challenges.
• Support financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and business performance monitoring requirements.
• Support finance master data governance, including chart of accounts, cost centres, profit centres, internal orders, and asset master data.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, IFRS standards, company policies, cybersecurity requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Conduct user training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions to improve user adoption and effective utilisation of SAP Finance solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automate manual activities, optimise system performance, strengthen controls, and support digital transformation initiatives.
QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP FI/CO implementation, support, enhancement, and optimization projects. Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Controlling, Profitability Analysis, Treasury and financial reporting solutions is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MM, SD, PP, QM, HR, PM, BW, system integrations, and end-to-end business processes.
SKILLS:
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA Finance, financial accounting, controlling, profitability analysis, reporting, and system integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, business process improvement, testing, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA Finance, or relevant SAP certifications preferred.
• Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and integration with other SAP modules is an advantage.
