As a Commercial Director, you’re not just leading Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Business Development strategies—you’re helping spread the light and warmth of hospitality by creating commercial success that enables exceptional guest experiences, strengthens market presence, and delivers outstanding results for the hotel.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Lead the hotel’s commercial strategy: Oversee Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Business Development functions to drive overall commercial performance
• Drive revenue growth and market share: Develop and execute commercial strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and competitive positioning across all segments
• Analyze market opportunities: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer insights, and demand patterns to identify opportunities for growth and business expansion
• Strengthen key business relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel partners, event planners, and other key stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with Operations, Finance, and department leaders to align commercial initiatives with hotel objectives and guest experience goals
• Oversee commercial performance: Review commercial KPIs, forecasts, budgets, and business plans to ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets
• Develop and inspire high-performing teams: Coach, mentor, and support Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Reservations teams while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Represent the hotel and the Hilton brand: Act as a key ambassador for the hotel within the market, strengthening brand presence and identifying new business opportunities.
