About the Role
erad is seeking a dynamic Operations Analyst to join our growing team. As an Operations Analyst, you will work closely with our Credit, and Finance teams, alongside external service providers, to support fund management and credit operations at erad. You will be involved across the fund lifecycle - with a primary focus on fund operations, regulatory oversight, and loan execution - while gaining exposure to broader investment and fund-related work in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day fund operations, overseeing the full fund lifecycle from setup and launch through reporting and wind-down.
- Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio and key risk metrics to ensure optimal asset management.
- Draft, maintain, and update fund Terms & Conditions, offering documents, and internal policies.
- Prepare and submit necessary filings to obtain regulatory approvals for fund activities.
- Manage relationships with external service providers including fund administrators, custodians, auditors, legal counsel, and the Shariah committee.
- Coordinate fund board activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing board packs, and documenting minutes to ensure strong governance.
- Lead loan execution post-credit approval, managing contracts, KYC/AML processes, and documentation for fund deployment.
- Maintain audit-ready filings, transaction records, and deal documentation, while supporting the credit team on operational tasks.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in fund management, asset management, or investment operations.
- CME 1 (A&B) - waived with CFA Level 1.
- CME 4 (A&B) - waived with the CFA program.
- Proficiency in fund operations, regulatory frameworks, and governance principles.
- Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to documentation and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
