Your Mission is to build and lead the BD function in Riyadh, drive new brand acquisition across the city, feed market intelligence back to leadership, and represent the company's interests across the Saudi market.
You will build the team, set the strategy, and own the number. This role reports directly to the CEO.
What You'll Own
Market Strategy & Brand Acquisition

Define and execute Koinz's brand acquisition strategy for Riyadh — identifying the highest value targets, prioritising by zone, and building a systematic pipeline from outreach to signed partnership

Lead cafe chain acquisition — targeting multi-branch chains that unlock multiple locations in a single deal

Own the full BD cycle from first contact through to activated brand

Develop and test value propositions specific to the Riyadh market

Build and maintain relationships with Riyadh's most influential F&B players — chains, independents, and the decision makers behind them
Team Building & Leadership

Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing BD team in Riyadh — setting the hiring bar, building the culture, and developing individuals who can execute independently

Establish the operating rhythm for the Riyadh BD function — pipeline reviews, performance cadences, target setting, and accountability structures

Coach and develop the team to close deals at volume without sacrificing brand quality
Market Intelligence & Ground Presence

Serve as Koinz's primary point of presence in Riyadh — visible, connected, and embedded in the market

Represent Koinz across the Saudi market — at industry events, in brand conversations, and in the broader F&B ecosystem

Feed real-time intelligence back to leadership — competitor moves, market shifts, brand sentiment, and emerging opportunities

Flag risks and opportunities early — leadership should hear about Riyadh from you first
Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure a clean handover from signed brand to activated partner

Partner with Marketing on Riyadh-specific campaigns and social proof assets that support the sales motion

Coordinate with the Cairo team on product feedback, operational support, and anything the Riyadh market needs to scale properly
What You Are
-
7–10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership — ideally within a technology platform, marketplace, or F&B adjacent business

Proven track record of building and leading BD teams — Developing the people and systems around the sales motion

Deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabia market, specifically Riyadh — with an existing network of F&B decision makers and brand relationships

Hunter mentality with strategic instinct — someone who can identify the highest value targets and build a systematic approach to winning them

Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving environment

F&B, retail, or loyalty platform background is a strong advantage
