We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Lead BIM Engineer to spearhead Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for a large-scale, complex mixed-use mega project in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.




The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing BIM workflows across high-rise, luxury hotel, and mixed-use developments, ensuring the seamless integration of multi-disciplinary design data and enhancing project delivery efficiency.




We envisage success in this role to include;



  • Leading the development, implementation, and management of BIM execution plans and strategies across all disciplines for the entire project.
  • Coordinating BIM modeling, clash detection, and coordination meetings involving architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and specialist consultants.
  • Overseeing the creation, maintenance, and quality control of federated BIM models for high-rise towers, luxury hotels, and mixed-use components.
  • Developing and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows aligned with international best practices and client requirements.
  • Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration and data exchange to optimize design integration and reduce errors and rework.
  • Supporting project teams with BIM tools training, technical support, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborating with project managers and construction teams to leverage BIM for construction planning, scheduling (4D), and cost estimation (5D).
  • Managing BIM deliverables for design submissions, approvals, and handover documentation in accordance with contract and regulatory standards.
  • Staying current with emerging BIM technologies and innovations to enhance project performance and client satisfaction.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries, ensuring all project stakeholders are aligned on BIM processes.



To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years of experience partnered with Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent field and experienced in large-scale, mixed-use and high-rise projects.




Advanced proficiency in a range of computer aided design tools including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and various Revit add-ins such as Dynamo, and integration tools with Specification, Energy Analysis, Cost control, Engineering analysis.




Advance proficiency in BIM360 Docs and Design (ACC).
