Job Description
Under general direction, performs analytical work related to improving the service delivery of various social service programs. Ensures compliance with federal and State of Ohio program mandates. Monitors assigned program(s) performance and makes recommendations to management regarding provider contracts and request for proposal submissions. Approves assigned federal or State of Ohio mandated program(s) client eligibility and payments. Develops recommendations, reporting tools, data collection and analysis instruments to improve program performance. Oversees assigned State of Ohio system(s) and use. Serves as a technical expert for assigned programs. Prepares and presents information on programs to agency, partners, community, government, and non-profit and business entities. Performs other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned

EXPERIENCE
:
Completion of bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral science, Masters degree preferred, plus two (2) years of experience in service delivery in a social program and/or organizational management, or combination of related course work and experience as approved by the Department of Human Resources

The duties listed below are intended to depict tasks performed by this classification.
Track and monitor information technology and infrastructure needs and projects and coordinates with respective county departments
Coordinate and monitor position requests, postings, and vacancies; prepare and monitor personnel budget and make projections; manage staffing report; perform administrative functions in Kronos; and writes position descriptions for the department
Represents department at meetings and conferences with state, federal and community agencies
Prepare and present reports to department leadership team
Work with department director on complex situations and projects and strategies to keep the department on track and compliant with federal, state, and local mandates
Collaborate with other county agencies to establish best practices
Other duties as assigned
