The candidate will be fulfilling a critical role within an exciting and growing team in the JPMorgan Chase Payments department called Client & Product Success team in the Acquiring Platform & Rails organization. This role will be part of the Strategic Delivery team and will be accountable for managing critical technology process improvement programs, operating model enhancements/management, provide governance oversight and spearhead our communications & execution strategy. They will manage solutions design oversight, application portfolio and data governance, technology debt management, risk and audit related remediation, support enterprise program management activities as well as any operating model transformation and management work.



This role will require strategic thinking and knowledge of industry trends, standards, best practices, firm-specific initiatives and relevant technologies to delivery best-in-class solutions leveraging people and subject matter expects across the firm. They will work closely with senior leadership to steer decision-making, track and remediate risks and issues, help with work prioritization and manage organization, stakeholder and partner communications for the department. They will be accountable for developing and delivering executive level reports to senior management while ensuring our strategic delivery & architecture, product & technology colleagues have the resources and guidance they need to deliver timely and relevant solutions. As a key professional in JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s global technology group, they will have the opportunity to work with some of the industry's leading talent in developing programs with broad and lasting implications. Candidates that have payments technology knowledge would be a plus.



This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:



  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 Years in Financial Services

  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed and a though leader

  • 6+ Years experience in Technology Governance & Risk Management

  • Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in creating executive level communication documents e.g. producing high quality and empirical governance scorecards and reports for senior leadership consumption

  • Expertise in running agile workshops in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm in leading collaborations to achieve common goals, solutions, improvements and priorities on time, within scope and on budget

  • Lead and manage architecture design reviews, data governance & applications portfolio governance processes for the department

  • Strong understanding of different technological development toolsets, frameworks, architecture and integration patterns and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Ability to understand a diverse and complex technology and operations infrastructure

  • Ability to pick up new concepts and information quickly and to ask effective questions

  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations

  • A strong understanding of financial control, budget management, risk management, and operations

  • Ability to create and support a collaborative culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent

  • Experience with PMO / portfolio management and delivering, or contributing to the delivery of, technology change projects

  • Experience with ITIL concepts - Service Management, Demand Management, Knowledge Management etc.

  • Experience with working with Public Cloud, Payments Technology & Business Knowledge is a plus
