The Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services/End User Computing has 2 student worker vacancies.

Louisiana is a State as a Model Employer for People with Disabilities.

An applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the State, in a sufficient number of courses and classes in such institution to be classified as a full-time regular student under the criteria used by the institution in which they are enrolled.

A full-time student retains their status during breaks, which occur in the course of or between session, including summer breaks.

Pay will be hourly and based upon the student’s major and classification within their program.

Student operators may be scheduled to work 15-25 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Background check, drug test and verification of enrollment from the educational institution will be required upon hire.

  • Assistance in identifying the appropriate state agency in regards to their purpose for calling

  • General information on how to obtain telephone numbers for non-state government entities the caller is actually seeking

  • Special event-related telephone numbers set up during times of emergency

  • Contact information for department heads and other state officials

  • Dialing instructions for state employees
