Transitioning a line of business (LOB) or areas to being a customer-centric and product-oriented organization is a large-scale and long-term endeavor.

Wells Fargo Digital Technology & Innovation provides development and technology support for digital banking products and services for digital customers with exceptionally reliable and secure experiences to meet their financial needs. We are seeking to hire two Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultants to join the Transformation Enablement team as part of the Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI) organization.

In partnership with Enterprise Transformation and Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) LOB, the DTI Transformation Enablement Office is responsible for guiding, leading, and enabling the transformation to create high quality and value products and experiences for our customers, deliver them faster and more frequently to customers and enable Wells Fargo transition to a product-driven organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner and facilitate strategy discussions with Architects, Enterprise Transformation, SDI Agile Enablement Office, Product Management and Engineering Leadership to recommend an execution approach in support of the Banking Product Platform Architecture (BPPA)

  • Understand current and target state, guide and make recommendation on transition and implementation plans, skillfully facilitate impediment removal, and negotiate across organization levels to create alignment to the target Banking Platform Product Architecture (BPPA) and Agile/Product operating models and foster an agile mindset.

  • Collaborate with enterprise Transformation, SDI Agile Enablement Office Transformation Leads, Product Teams, Engineering Managers, and leaders to prioritize, create and maintain transition roadmap and plan, monitor and track progress on transformation journey and utilize metrics and data to assess transformation maturity levels and recommend continuous improvements.

  • Guide teams, managers and leaders on Agile and Lean principles and practices to grow organizational and engineering agility while using domain knowledge in engineering and product development to ask powerful questions through continuous feedback loops and offer credible feedback to help teams develop an agile mindset and organize around products with the intention of minimizing handoffs, dependencies and delays which all contribute to organizational waste.

  • Deliver solutions that are long term and large scale to implement transformation and technology strategy, organizational goals, priorities and mature the go-forward Agile roles for consistency.

  • Educate and influence Enterprise Change Management (ECM), Compliance, Technology Risk and Control and leaders on Agile and product transformation target state. Help teams, partners and leaders understand impacts on current state and obtain their inputs and buy-in to make the necessary adjustments to keep moving forward Helps leaders understand associated

  • Know where and when to focus tactically while maintaining overall vision of strategy, goals, and outcomes.

  • In partnership with Enterprise Transformation and SDI Agile Enablement Office, define and mature foundational operating and structural conditions to rapidly accelerate towards a product-based way of working and new product operating model. Build processes and provide socialization and communication plan to ensure education and integration with internal teams while ensuring alignment to target state and adjust where/when needed.

  • Collaborate and communicate with Transformation leaders, Product Teams, Engineering Managers, partners/stakeholders, and Technology Leaders to activate, sustain, and mature an Agile and product-based way of working by providing the necessary transformational support to teams.

  • Foster and promote automation and agile engineering tooling and processes.

  • Research questions that arise related to the Product Transition deliverables and assist Product Managers to ensure preparedness with enterprise change management and governance approvals.

  • Develop collaborative working relationships with multiple levels of leaders, adoption leads and champions, managers, and partners/stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 7+ years of direct Agile experience

  • 7+ years operating in a product-oriented organization in a Product Manager discipline or performing product management responsibilities

  • 7+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience

  • 3+ years of defining, implementing, and tracking metrics and experience providing analytics or interpretation of metrics to identify trends and themes

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in leading and implementing Agile and/or Digital Transformation

  • Experience with digital product development on products

  • Fluent with operating in a scaled agile environment

  • Strong customer interaction ability to participate in research and engagements as part of continuous feedback loops and empirical data

  • Strong relationship development, collaboration and negotiation skills with global cross functional partners and stakeholders and multiple levels of leaders

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and influence skills

Pay Range:

San Francisco, California: 138,500.00 - 287,600.00 USD Annually

Concord, California: 138,500.00 - 287,600.00 USD Annually

El Monte, California: 126,400.00-262,600.00 USD Annually

New York: 138,500.00 - 287,600.00 USD Annually

Pay Range

$120,400.00 - $250,000.00 Annual
