Guided by the values of the company, the Strategic Account Lead is responsible for partnering with HQs of National Accounts with multi focus (Tech, PL, and ADAMA Brand) covering short and long-term scope. In ADAMA’s case, these Strategic Account Lead capabilities include technical competence and prowess, complemented by business savvy and business relationship building.

Fundamental Areas of Focus:



  • Builds overall direction of key market-share business segments

  • Directs the applicable RAM’s delivering overall guidance, regional focus and account alignment

  • Understands marketing strategies & how to utilize marketing platforms to drive sales with account

  • Works with Product/Portfolio Management to meet sales goals

  • Consistently delivers our brand promise to customers through key business plans

  • Build & facilitate comprehensive account business plans to include key stakeholders within the organization

  • Partner with the commercial team to ensure an accurate and credible sales

  • Define a clear sales strategy to support our Portfolio & New Product introductions

  • Partner with Strategy, product & Marketing Team to ensure future offers are relevant to the market & key accounts.

Requirements



  • BA/BS in Ag science or BA/BS is non-Ag discipline with significant industry background

  • A minimum 10 years in Sales and/or Sales/Account Management

  • Strong sense of customer focuses and demonstrates excellent sales and negotiations skills

  • Demonstrated People Management (hiring, deployment, development)

  • Competency in business acumen

  • Strong intellectual curiosity

  • Strategic and tactical thinking

  • Communication (both oral and written)

  • Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution

  • Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization

  • Excellent people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner
