Who we are looking forForwardXP is looking for a talented Game Producer to help us build our next great VR game!

In this role, you will be joining a team in its formation stages to develop a VR action game for the Meta Quest 2, PC VR and PlayStation VR2 platforms. You will work with company leadership and the development team to guide the project from requirements gathering, through development and shipping. As Producer, you will guide the team through Scrum activities, provide leadership and our publishing partners with regular updates on project status, and help coordinate work with outsourcing partners.

You'll be joining a company whose senior team has decades of combined experience working on some of the biggest FPS titles in history, and strong business relationships across the industry, including with our recent partners at Wizards of the Coast, Insomniac Games, and Meta. Forward maintains a diverse portfolio of projects and partners with the goal of long-term stability for our teams.

What you will be doing



  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and roadmaps across multiple disciplines, ensuring milestones are successfully met

  • Work with project & department leads to guide projects from concept to ship

  • Coordinate your team's work on a daily basis and update the rest of the production team



  • Provide transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders to ensure they are properly informed at all stages of development

  • Collaborate with leads to determine best practices, development pipelines and resource allocation

  • Motivate and inspire your team by example setting and always contributing to a positive work environment

  • Be a resource for internal and external partners (if applicable) and help them solve a variety of development problems where needed

Requirements



  • 3+ years of game development experience in a production role

  • Experience working in VR

  • Solid understanding of the game development process

  • Familiarity with Jira / Confluence

  • Strong project and people management skills

  • Strong team building abilities



  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum
