SUMMARY:




The Systems Analyst – ERP is responsible for providing direction in the implementation and operation of ERP, on-site support throughout successive ERP life cycles, and operational performance assessments


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provides direction via complete planning and project management oversight for the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and operation of ERP system

  • Acts as primary administrator of SQL database. Assist Network Manager in resolving any database related issues

  • Ensures fast turn-around-time responses to ERP System inquiries, problems, and recommendations as required, using skills and abilities

  • Leads or supports projects involving development of business processes that will utilize the ERP system

  • Applies customizations to ERP system

  • Ensures complete and ongoing training for all Company personnel

  • Assists in the development of and maintain awareness of ERP performance measurements; maintain and present to management ongoing performance evaluations



  • Participates in defining scope of ERP content

  • Performs of other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • No direct supervisory responsibility, but provides project management leadership, and cross-functional and intra-company team leadership on an on-going basis.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred

  • Minimum (4) four years of SYSPRO ERP experience as a power user, process integrator or equivalent experience

  • Strong knowledge of computer applications to include data-base applications

  • Project management knowledge via experience, training or certification


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Strong computer application skills

  • Ability to solve problems quickly, accurately

  • Ability to transfer knowledge via formal and informal training activities

  • Ability to organize, participate in, and direct cross-functional teams

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interact with senior management in staff advisory role


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • The normal work environment is typical of a business office, manufacturing operation, and laboratory and clean room facilities.

  • The incumbent is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, touch, see, and hear.

  • The incumbent must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

  • While performing the regular duties of the position, the incumbent may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. The incumbent must be able to wear safety equipment and follow safety instructions.
