Collects and analyzes data to support U.S. Pipe’s growth and improve its systems and processes. Research specified business process and identify areas for improvement. Develop reports that increase managements view of the business and assist with decision making. Develop and maintain key metrics and dashboards that assist different areas of the business including Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain. Track and report on assigned improvement initiatives. Review existing written procedures. Edit & create new where necessary. Support various initiatives as needed, such as assisting with change management and technology implementation. Develop broad understanding of U.S. Pipe’s business by cross training in cross functional areas.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, General Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management is preferred. Microsoft Office software proficiency, Intermediate to expert level excel skills, Exposure to ERP software, and BI Software, is helpful. Well-developed math proficiency, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a team situation. Needs to be well organized and demonstrate problem solving skills and ability. The employee will be working in an office environment, infrequent business travel required. The employee will also be exposed to plant facilities and yards (heat, cold, noise, dust, and machinery). Perform other duties as required by manager.
