Job Description Summary:

Reporting to the Director Training and Organizational Development, the Workday Training and Development Partner has responsibility for collaborating with HRIS/Workday leaders to develop training materials and deliver instructor led training for a Workday implementation that develops employees' skills in Workday Finance, Procurement and an existing HCM module. To ensure success as a training partner, the incumbent will demonstrate knowledge of instructional design and/or training methods, as well as formal training and/or work experience with Workday HCM and Finance. The Workday Training and Development Partner will provide training in a one-on-one setting or in a group setting as needed. Develop materials to be provided as guides and follow-up with individuals to ensure that learning has been successfully applied and retained

Position Qualifications/Requirements


  • BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, or similar field related discipline.

  • Master’s degree preferred Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, or similar field related discipline.


  • Workday certification in at least two of the following: HCM, Finance, Procurement, and Learning.

  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.

Previous Experience:

  • Must have minimum 4 years Workday consulting, instructional design, technical, or implementation experience and 1+ years of Workday training experience

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across organization

  • Knowledge of training development, delivery and logistics (i.e. registration) tools and templates, disciplines and techniques.

  • Ability to learn about administrative concepts and create tailored training materials for FCS’s stakeholder groups and end users.

  • Knowledge of curriculum design, instructional methods, and training techniques.

  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.

  • Leadership and Mentoring: Effectively lead and facilitate group discussions, coach, mentor, motivate, and engage others to align to a common goal. Ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment.

  • Human Resources Management: Effectively hire, coach and support staff develop, as applicable, as well as manage resources, performance and employee relations, and supervise within established policies, procedures and legislation.

  • Computer Skills: High proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required. Experience using HRIS or HCM systems (i.e. PeopleSoft, Workday)
