Role & Function

The IT Support Analyst is responsible for supporting the North America organization with all IT related issues and tasks, in tight collaboration with and with guidance from the central IT function at HQ in Stockholm, Sweden. The position is headquartered in Durham, NC.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support and IT Operations covering the following hardware platforms:
  • PCs (primarily laptops, Windows based)
  • Phones and mobile devices (iPhones and iPads)
  • Local North America servers (Windows based)
  • Conference room audio visual equipment
Tasks include:
  • Support the North American organization and personnel with First and Second Line deskside Support
o Hardware

o Systems and software

o Digital assets such as external websites
  • Administration of on-premise, cloud based and Software as a Service applications.
  • Help to implement IT processes and procedures
  • Participate in and/or lead changes to the IT infrastructure and/or the IT landscape at the North America offices in collaboration with central IT at HQ
  • Documentation
  • Collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. vendors)
  • Expertise: IT Support, Windows clients, IOS mobile devices,
**This person will participate as an active part of the daily service desk rotation.
  • Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, Azure AD, MFA, Office 365, SharePoint Online administration, Teams administration, information security standards


Qualifications
  • Previous experience of similar role and/or computer science degree with a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in information technology and IT support, working according to ITIL procedures (or
equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of information security processes, procedures and controls.
  • Solid analytical problem solving abilities.
  • Previous experience within Pharma or MedTech industry and working with validated systems a bonus.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with Senior Leadership and staff members.
  • Core IT – infrastructure and systems – provided through central IS/IT function at HQ in Sweden. Tight collaboration and communication required, also onsite training in Sweden from time to time.
