Job Description

Position Summary

The S&OP Global Process Manager will partner with the COE (Center of Excellence), S&OP team, Supply Chain organization, and Finance to drive the five-year strategy for Supply Chain excellence by ensure cross functional implementation and utilization of the SAP IBP planning tools, partnering with the COE to develop training materials and standard practices and ensuring world class processes are implemented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with Supply Chain team to implement full planning in IBP planning system
  • Provide overall support as the SME for Demand and Supply planning in IBP planning system
  • Actively review process, inputs, outputs, and internal expectations for continuous improvement of the S&OP planning process
  • Develop cross GBU best practices sharing and alignment
  • Work with world class organizations to improve forecasting and supply planning processes across the GBU
  • Develop feedback loop with internal key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of the process and systems development
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, operations, mathematics, or a related field
  • S&OP Training, APICS Certification or IBF Certification a plus
  • 3 years of experience using MS Office applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
  • 3 years of experience working within supply chain functions
  • 3 years of hands-on information gathering, analysis and management reporting
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with modeling, analysis, and simulations tools
  • Membership of professional organizations, trade or user groups, and a pattern of regular attendance at industry conferences to enhance knowledge of supply chain planning

  • Show curiosity by asking questions, learning about the business, and understanding financial impacts of the Demand Plan
  • Strong presentation and speaking skills, ability to tell a story and gain alignment on the plan
  • Ability to drive change, and hold external team members accountable for process improvements
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform in a command-and-control role under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
  • Strong analytical, data-processing, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in process formulation and improvement
  • Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment
  • Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
