As Corporate Finance (M&A) Analyst, you\' ll assist with the evaluation and valuation of prospective investment opportunities in and outside the company\' s existing portfolio. You will work on a team of hard-working problem solvers, bringing solutions to sophisticated business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Performs financial modeling and valuation in the evaluation of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, major capital projects and commercial contracting with the goal of proposing innovative solutions and structures to improve value
  • Supports the merger and acquisition, capital investment, and commercial negotiation process including strategy, opportunity identification, due diligence, deal structuring, execution, and integration
  • Helps to analyze company and investment information
  • Assists in formal deal due diligence
  • Helps in the assessment (providing research and information on the competitive landscape, trends, strategic fit, sources of commonalities and potential risks of an investment)
  • Assists in presentations to senior leadership and other parties related to prospective investments
  • Conducts analysis and new growth research
Qualifications
  • Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Working knowledge of financial calculations and statements, GAAP, NPV, IRR, etc.
  • Preferred: Experience in economic valuation modeling for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, expansions, and greenfield projects identifying, assessing and quantifying risks inherent in a transaction
  • Preferred: Experience conducting financial modeling/valuation analysis, including DCF (discounted cash flow), trading comps, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution, value creation analysis, three-statement models and combined pro-forma models
  • Preferred: Demonstrates ability to produce high-quality materials such as memorandums, presentations and board materials
  • Preferred: Experience conducting market research and analyzing general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization\' s corporate development strategies and operations
  • Preferred: Experience in oil & gas, energy, midstream
  • Bachelor\' s Degree in Business, Finance or related field is required.
