An Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of administrative/clerical support for the Community, answer phone calls, and greet visitors to the Community. As the Administrative Assistant, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Maintains a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for the residents’ needs. Reports to the Executive Director, in support of the Executive Director and the overall operation of the facility.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a secretarial/ administrative assistant role.
  • Demonstrated experience in being organized, self-directed and ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Job Duties:
  • Must project a professional, cheerful, tactful manner and exemplify the PMMA philosophy of \"positive first impressions\".
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
  • Certain tasks in this job description may require you to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 10 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 10 feet.
  • Other duties as assigned.
