GB Tech, Inc. has an immediate need for a Full Time Business Development Representative.

We are currently seeking experienced Business Development Representative to maximize sales opportunities with our existing and new client accounts. This position reports to our Director of Information Technology. We are looking for an individual who is a closer and has a proven track record of generating sales, and is accustomed to earnings commensurate with their

sales skills, experience and effort. If you have the experience and the fire, we\'d like to talk to you.

Our Business Development Representative are responsible for cultivating new client sales through effective prospecting, as well as growing and developing opportunities with existing clients through exceptional relationship building. Candidates must be energetic and focused with an unstoppable motivation to sell and strong desire to succeed. Maintaining and growing accounts requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective utilization of provided resources and unbeatable customer service.

This position will include identifying client needs through product knowledge and positioning, and involves responding to numerous quote requests on a daily basis. Responsibilities include identifying, forecasting and attaining sales goals through consistent, persistent follow-up and follow-through via phone, email and our online order systems.

Job duties include prospecting, qualifying and closing sales. Overall relationship management and the ability to coordinate required resources to respond to client needs and quote requests is a necessity. Other requirements include completing ongoing training and attaining manufacturer sales certifications, developing and maintaining relationships with client and vendor contacts, and preparing and delivering detailed quotes and proposals.

Minimum Skills Required:
  • Minimum three years direct selling experience to new and existing clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with prospects, clients and vendors
  • Passion for teamwork, continuing education, problem solving and exceptional customer service
  • Must be well spoken, outgoing, organized, detail-orientated, dependable and flexible
  • Valid driver\'s license and proof of insurance
  • Reliable transportation
This Position Entails:
  • Cold calling and prospecting to establish new accounts while maintaining an established book of business
  • Maintaining and growing business with existing accounts
  • Responding to RFQ’s and RFPs on a daily basis
  • Planning and organizing daily work schedule
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through, personal drive and the desire to make a difference
  • Presenting key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing on the client’s needs and expectations
  • Maintaining a track record of sales growth (even during slow times)
  • Using a consultative sales approach
  • Maintaining company values and demanding the highest standards of conduct from self and others
  • Listening attentively and responding effectively to client concerns
  • Negotiating or mediating discussions competently
  • Demonstrating the ability to close sales and overcome client’s objections
