Want to be part of a true Day One operation and on the cutting edge of global eCommerce expansion into new, ambiguous, untapped Emerging markets in Africa and the Middle East? Amazon\'s US Global Sales team is seeking a dynamic, driven, Strategic Account Manager comfortable wearing many different hats to help US Sellers expand their business globally to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

Global Sales\' vision is to offer the Earth\'s largest selection, lowest prices, and best customer experience to Amazon customers worldwide. We currently serve nearly twenty countries, exceed 40% of total Amazon unit sales, and are growing fast. We\'re looking for global-minded sales and business development talent who thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Key job responsibilities
Job Details:
  • Core Responsibility: Reducing selling frictions and solving problems to drive new growth in a cohort of existing, strategic accounts.
  • Complete ownership of the Seller lifecycle. You and your Sellers are a team working toward a mutual goal. You celebrate the wins, and fix the switchboard if the lights unexpectedly go out.
  • Build the playbook; improvise, be flexible and curious in new, ambiguous and challenging environments.
  • Own and contribute to process improvements; sales is a core part of our job but we don\'t feel or work like traditional salespeople.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of relevant business and sales experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience prospecting, outreaching or cold-calling customer
  • Experience with pipeline management utilizing Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with outbound sales and pipeline management
  • Successfully navigate through fast-paced environment dealing with ambiguity like startup. Enjoy learn from doing and build from scratch. Can identify insight quickly and setup SOP and mechanism instead of requiring detail guidance to follow
  • Proven record of driving end to end sales and account management with all the issues of your customer. Enjoy hangs-on solving customer pain point effectively instead of waiting for others
  • B2C sales experience recruiting and managing numbers of customers (B2B sales who manages less than 10 key accounts is not working in this case)
  • Online sales, international trading, or retail experience in NA, Emerging Country, MENA, South East Asia (Singapore) or LATAN (Brazil).
  • Experience using tools such as Excel and SQL to analyze data and make business decisions
