The primary function of the Community Education Liaison is to facilitate communication to physicians and their office staff regarding the services offered by Hospice to grow profitable revenue and build market share within the designated service areas. They are also responsible for the identification and coordination of community education and to serve as a liaison for the coordination of patient referrals.

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience in Hospice or Home Health preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing and or sales preferred. Post Secondary Educational background in marketing and or referral generation or health care required. BSN preferred.Demonstrates ability to prioritize work load. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care primarily to the geriatric population and , to a lesser degree, the pediatric and adult populations. Up to date Computer skills. Must have reliable transportation and agency required liability insurance.
  • Must be able to documentValid Alabama Drivers\' license and current automobile insurance; if Registered Nurse (RN) then must have valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
