Washer Maintainer

Job Purpose:

Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment used throughout the production line.

Key Accountabilities:

• To carry out quality checks and inspection as per the quality plan.
• Responsible for reviewing and implementing corrective and preventive actions, procedures and changes affecting product quality.
• Responding immediately to identify nonconforming conditions within defined time periods and with information to describe the actual (planned) corrective actions taken.
• To maximize production and minimize spoilage during the manufacturing process.
• To carry out the necessary repairs of equipment as and when required or requested by senior staff.
• To carry out the set-up checks that may follow maintenance work. (ESU).
• To report potential problems to the Shift Supervisor or relevant personnel.
• To take the necessary corrective actions and report the nonconformities to the Senior QC and other relevant personnel.
• To maintain safe working practices and comply with any legal safety requirements and /or checks.
• On maintenance days, carry out the repairs, preventive maintenance and /or housekeeping tasks as directed by superiors.
• To promote quality improvements and preventive actions by involvement in suggestion schemes.
• To maintain good housekeeping at all times.
• To apply basic hygiene and sanitation and adhere to food safety related rules & activities as per company instructions
• Perform food safety and quality related activities as part of the FSMS and QA /QC

Qualifications:

• High school/ diploma
• Chemical experience background
• 1 - 2 Years
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs.
