Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and transportation, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, shipments, and storage locations.
  • Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and on-time delivery.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations, inventory, or shipments.
  • Regularly revise the procedure and process to be aligned with new roles and changes
  • Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant materials to maximize availability of working capital
  • Validate & Coordinate and follow up with Purchasing Team to convert PRs to Purchase Orders and ensure received POs acknowledge from Warehouse team
  • Prepare required Reports On monthly basis and share it with End-user and department manager
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding warehouse operations, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
  • Order Prioritization and work closely with clients to prioritize critical shipments and ensure order fulfillment meets their requirements.
  • Stakeholder Issue Resolution: Proactively address warehouse-related concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams), such as delays, incorrect shipments, damaged goods, or inventory shortages. Implement corrective actions, communicate solutions effectively, and ensure preventive measures are in place to minimize recurrence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).

Certification from APICS in CSCP or CPIM.

Certification from CIPS.

Experience

3 to 5 years’ experience in warehouse management.

  • Experience in process improvement.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
