Position Summary
The Senior Director, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman (KBO) VCA is a key leadership role in the VCA GCC team focused on selling, delivering and tracking high impact projects to our top clients in GCC with a particular focus in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a motivated individual who will manage and lead the development of a segment of our business in Saudi Arabia, looking at business development, client relationship and project delivery. The individual will also play an active role in growing the consulting practice through development of team structures, account management skills, coaching and mentoring methods while ensuring standardized methodology to proposals, project delivery and project impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the sales and delivery of high impact projects in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman while resolving complex strategic problems and meeting business targets for clients
Proactively manage Client engagements in key markets to foster value-added services growth
Lead the planning and delivery of solutions and service offerings into the market, working with practice leads to address client needs in the region
Identify additional client project opportunities and lead the preparation of proposals for new client work
Lead the strategy development for the consulting business in the KBO regions in alignment with the VCA CEMEA and GCC Digital and Strategy, Risk and Portfolio Leads
Drive the deployment and roll out of key strategic topics and capabilities in the KBO regions (e.g., GenAI, Open Banking, etc.)
Support GCC Consulting & Analytics leadership on project and practice economics, value-in-kind forecasts, burn rates, utilization, scorecards and to manage risk and quality of the project deliverables
Manage the market team professional development and efficiency improvements
Synthesize and manage complex project structures when required assignment objectives, project scope, budget and project delivery
Develop IP and knowledge sharing with consulting & data science teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients
Play a leadership role in talent recruitment, coaching and development of consultants
This position is expected to be on the ground in KSA 4 to 5 days a week, with visits to Bahrain and Oman as required by client and market needs.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a financial services consulting role (combination of consulting and banking experience is highly desirable)
• Proven experience in business development and project delivery for a consulting business.
• Experience driving large-scale change management initiatives either in a consulting or practitioner capacity
• A combination of local, regional and global experience in financial services is strongly desired
• Ability to develop strategies and activities to increase effectiveness of programs based on performance
• Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Relationship management skills, should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
• Group facilitation and presentation skills
• A recognized Degree qualification (MBA is preferred)
• Able to travel frequently and work on client site for extended periods across GCC
• Fluency in English mandatory. Additional language skills (Arabic) is highly preferred
