The Job in a Nutshell

Shaping the user experience and interface of our digital financial products. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to turn complex financial processes into intuitive and engaging experiences. Your designs will focus on improving usability, accessibility, and aesthetics to create frictionless interactions for our users.

What You Will Do

• Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points within the financial context.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that illustrate user flows and design solutions for complex financial products.
• Develop visually appealing and consistent user interfaces across web and mobile platforms, adhering to brand guidelines and fintech industry standards.
• Design intuitive interactions and animations that enhance the user experience, especially in sensitive areas like account management, transactions, and financial dashboards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—product managers, engineers, and stakeholders—to deliver user-centered design solutions from concept to implementation.
• Organize and conduct usability tests and iterate on designs based on feedback, ensuring designs meet both user and business goals.
• Help build and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across all products.
• Simplify complex financial data through clear, concise, and visually engaging charts, graphs, and dashboards.
• Ensure designs comply with industry regulations and accessibility standards, focusing on making financial services usable for all users, including those with disabilities (WCAG compliance).
  
  

What Are We Looking For

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience (UX) Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably within fintech or financial services.
• Advanced knowledge of compliance and regulations.
• Passionate about staying updated on UX/UI design trends, tools, and fintech industry developments.
• Solid understanding of information architecture and interaction design principles
• Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Experience leading design teams and mentoring junior designers.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
