- Actively lead, participate, and support all Air Products Qudra safety programs, safe work practices, good housekeeping, and environmental compliance.
- Review safety plans for all outages work to be carried out and ensure its execution. Responsible to ensure all the EH&S standards/procedures are followed along with best industrial practice throughout the life cycle of turnaround including shutdowns.
- Prepare the KPIs for quality compliance for all the turnaround under Air Products Qudra. Review the Quality plan along with other discipline leads and ensure all the required formats / ITPs / QPs are reviewed and approved from authorized parties.
- Support QA/QC organization to implement the QA/QC plan for all the Turnaround being executed during the outages.
- Actively review, improve, refine, and update the Air Products Qudra Turnaround work process to consistently deliver world class performance and be an industry leader.
- Work with the appropriate plant contacts to identify upcoming plant turnarounds and develop a 3-5year strategic plan for turnarounds.
- Align with other stakeholders for the scope definition and review with Turnaround Manager and Operations Project Manager for the detail planning.
- Review and support for the work package preparation for all the major subcontracts.
- Support the planning team to oversee, implement, maintain, and support the continued development of enterprise management tools such as Primavera P6, MS project etc. and contract management tools.
- Develop packages for the subcontractors /vendors and review the bids technically and provide recommendation for the selection of right subcontractors/vendors.
- Define all the deliverables and KPI for the various subcontractors and vendors and monitor during execution phase and addressing the gaps on right time in order to avoid any impact on the cost and schedule on overall plan of Turnarounds.
- Review the Subcontractors/vendors the final close out reports and prepare the overall Turnaround Report along with lessons learnt and providing the recommendation for upcoming Turnaround Strategy.
- Support and review the workforce and equipment histogram, materials requirement and provide the guidance in-line with scope definition.
- Work with planning team to identify the critical path and define all the necessary actions to control critical path during planning and execution phase.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders for the material identification, procurement and on time availability before execution.
- Review cost estimates, assist to prepare work plans, and schedules for all turnarounds in Air Products Qudra in order to ensure that they meet business objectives.
- Ensure that the Turnarounds are properly resourced /organized within Air Products Qudra and align with other stakeholders.
- Develop a Turnaround organization chart reflecting target workforce loading for various roles during the Turnarounds.
- The basic function of this role is to supervise, oversee the execution, and coordinate the entire work scope of the Turnarounds.
- Responsible to ensure that Management of Change requirements are in place for all turnaround activities & any changes, modifications or upgrades are documented and approved prior to implementation.
- Review Field Change Orders (FCO’s) for additional work and forward to approving authorities for approval.
- Prepare the final close out report for all the shutdowns /turnarounds.
- Prepare the lesson learnt summary after getting the data from all other relevant disciplines and submit to Senior management.
