Job Summary
The Treasury & Bank Relations Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s treasury functions and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners. This role involves overseeing cash management, funding strategies, and financial risk management to ensure the organization's liquidity and financial stability. The manager will collaborate with various departments to optimize cash flow and support strategic financial initiatives.
The Treasury & Bank Relations Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s treasury functions and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners. This role involves overseeing cash management, funding strategies, and financial risk management to ensure the organization's liquidity and financial stability. The manager will collaborate with various departments to optimize cash flow and support strategic financial initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Oversee daily cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and optimization of liquidity positions.
- Banking Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to support the organization’s financing needs.
- Funding Strategies: Evaluate and implement funding strategies, including debt issuance, lines of credit, and other financing options to meet capital requirements.
- Financial Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks related to interest rates, foreign exchange, and liquidity to protect the organization’s assets.
- Treasury Operations: Manage treasury operations, including payment processing, bank account management, and reconciliation of cash transactions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present treasury reports to senior management, providing insights into cash positions, forecasts, and banking relationships.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies related to treasury and banking activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure alignment on cash management and funding strategies.
- Investment Management: Oversee the organization’s investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with liquidity needs and risk tolerance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in treasury management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury management, cash management, or banking relations.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems, financial modeling, and cash flow forecasting tools.

- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions regarding cash management and funding.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with banking partners and internal stakeholders.

- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in treasury operations.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build cross-departmental relationships.
- Risk Management: Knowledge of financial risk management principles and practices.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing financial regulations and market conditions.
