Fugro Suhaimi is looking for a TPI Mechanical Inspector

Under general supervision, the TPI Mechanical Inspector applies skills and knowledge to ensure materials, equipment, and installations conform to client specifications. This role involves inspecting various project activities, generating reports, notifying management of significant issues, and completing documentation to attest to satisfactory completion of vendor inspection or test activities. The inspector will maintain a strong collaborative partnership with cross-functional team members to facilitate organizational success by ensuring safety and meeting business needs. All inspection activities must comply with company SAIC, SATIP, IMS, SAC, and relevant ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluation Prepare and maintain the list of approved suppliers/sub-contractors after conducting evaluations.
• Quality Witness fit-up and marking details, alignment, joint configuration, and dimensions as per API650. Inspect welding consumables, weld size, finish, surface condition, parameters, completeness, and random dimensional inspections. Conduct final inspections, interpret radiographic films, witness NDE examinations, and check surface preparation and coating thickness. Conduct and witness pneumatic tests, hydro tests, holiday tests, and visual inspections.
• Coordination Coordinate vendor inspection activities as per QM’s.
• Quality Management Implement an Integrated Management System (IMS) to integrate Quality, Environmental, and HSE Management systems.

• License/Certification/Qualification AWS/CSWIP, BGAS/NACE, API - 510, 570, and 653, LEEA – General and Part 2, CBT Pass Welding/Painting
