TENDER ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

To deliver high-quality technical and commercial proposals for electrical engineering projects, and involves analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, coordinating with various teams, and delivering technical and financial proposals to secure profitable contracts.

• Analyze Project Requirements: Thoroughly analyze project specifications to identify key technical and commercial factors, ensuring accurate and comprehensive tender submissions.
• Tender Evaluation and Negotiation: Participate actively in tender evaluation meetings, presenting proposals and negotiating with clients.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all tenders comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements, maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with team memberss in creating project budgets,and strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients.
• Documentation: Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are in place to optimize project profitability.

• Presentation: Develop technical and commercial proposals that align with project goals and company strategy.
• Post-Tender Activities: Participate in the post-tender review process to identify areas for improvement in future tendering activities.
• Component Selection and Specification: Reviewing tender documents, designing solutions, costing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client specifications and organizational goals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, safety regulations, and certification requirements.
• Assurance and Review: Develop detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Skills: Proven experience in tendering, cost estimation, and proposal preparation for electrical projects, proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Tender Preparation: Review and analyze client requirements, project specifications, and tender documents.
• Client Interaction: Attend client meetings and site visits to gain insights into project requirements.
• Technical Coordination's: Liaise with internal teams (design, procurement, and project management) to gather accurate data for proposals.
• Maintaining Documentation: Organizing and maintaining a library of electrical drawings, documents, and related project files.
• Adhering to Safety Standards: Ensuring that electrical drawings comply with relevant safety regulations and building codes.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering in tendering.
