We are looking for a Tender and Contract Manager to support the region by managing tenders, contracts, and enabling cross-divisional deals. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end tender process, support contract negotiations, and ensure excellence in contract management to strengthen Stryker’s market position across MENA region. You will collaborate with key functions and provide valuable market insights to drive business success in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the country commercial lead for tenders and contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end tender process, ensuring effective implementation and strict compliance.
  • Manage and monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to terms and driving compliance visibility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key tender authorities and procurement stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic insights on procurement and tender landscape, recommending future operating models.
  • Collaborate with franchises, commercial teams, and business enablement functions to drive contract success.
  • Lead and develop the tender and contracts team, ensuring resource allocation and continuous improvement.
  • Support franchises with contractual disputes and resolutions, ensuring positive business outcomes.
  • Ensure consistency in pricing policies and contract monitoring for both direct and indirect tenders.
  • Continuously improve tools and systems to enhance commercial services and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Required:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Statistics, Medical Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in tender and contract management.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end tender, contract, and pricing processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Divisions and Functions to drive successful tender submissions.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the medical device industry within the MENA market.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and operate within a complex matrix organization.
  • Legal qualification is a plus.
  • Experience in developing and implementing tools to improve tender and contract management.
