Telecommunication Design Engineer (Saudi National) - #17046

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Telecommunication Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design Telecommunication Infrastructure and in-building ELV systems . You will develop and control the activities and deliverables associated to the ICT project scope in order to provide sound engineering solutions for projects while ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, codes, standards and specifications.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare design packages for ICT/telecommunication infrastructure and in-building ELV systems inclusive of design drawings, scopes of work, and material technical specifications.

• Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter.

• Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

• Security systems which include but not limited to CCTV, SACS, PA, etc.

• ELV systems which include but not limited to voice, Data, FDAS, etc.

• Design of physical security systems like road blockers, turnstile, barriers, etc.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Broad knowledge and design experience of ICT, Telecommunications, ELV, Electronic Safety and Security systems and Fire Alarm systems.
• Knowledge of GPON Fiber Optic Networks, including FTTH, FTTP, FTTX, etc.

• Knowledge of engineering practices and calculation methods.

• Knowledge of international codes and standards such as BICSI, IEEE, ANSI, IEC, NFPA, UL.

• Good communication skills

• Flexibility and dependability.

• Eagerness to build-up their knowledge base

• Willingness to share knowledge and guide and mentor fellows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (or related field) Typically 5+ years of related work experience.

• Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.

• Interest in promoting harmonic work with co-workers in a multicultural environment.

• Willingness to succeed in completing all jobs to a high standard and improve at tasks.

• Self-Management and organizational skills.

• Active listening and results-oriented.
