Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible to drive and oversee key digital transformation and strategic initiatives within the Technology Unit, ensuring alignment with GPMO and Strategy, and to orchestrate collaboration across teams and vendors to achieve business objectives and sustainable digital capabilities The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive and oversee major cross-functional and cross-sector initiatives, including Digital Transformation and other enterprise-wide projects, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with Technology Unit priorities and business objectives.
  • Analyze and document the current digital landscape, including processes, technologies, pain points, bottlenecks, and reliance on legacy systems, and translate assessment outputs into practical solution designs
  • Apply a strategic, forward-thinking mindset to conceptualize future design options, assess implications, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to drive business value.
  • Lead the development and execution of digital initiatives from start to finish, ensuring timely completion of each stage, and maintain accountability for delivering on milestones and expected outcomes.
  • Articulate and communicate the benefits, synergies, risks, and interdependencies of various digital initiatives, and develop clear, actionable delivery roadmaps to drive execution.
  • Manage and coordinate activities throughout the full project lifecycle, collaborating with line management and multiple stakeholder groups to drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and maintain momentum.

  • Foster effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong coordination and negotiation skills to balance competing priorities and drive consensus.
  • Communicate in a clear, persuasive, and consistent manner to build trust, secure stakeholder buy-in, and maintain adaptability to evolving business needs and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and software vendors to ensure seamless project execution, adherence to timelines, and the achievement of key deliverables.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex digital projects by working collaboratively across functions, sectors, and teams to ensure initiatives meet or exceed intended business objectives.

Years Of Experience

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 - 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Nature Of Experience

Experience in managing the development and modernization of platforms preferably within a technology or telecom industry.
