Job Summary

The IS&T Technician will provide technical support for all personnel assigned to the Al-Khobar office, ensuring reliable IT services and infrastructure. The role includes hardware and software support, network troubleshooting, user assistance, and coordination with regional and global IT teams. The technician will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity and supporting digital tools essential for project delivery.

Major Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware, peripherals, and software
• Provide first-line support for workstation issues, including operating systems, applications, and connectivity
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and workstation setup in accordance with Bechtel IT policies
• Monitor and troubleshoot local network performance and connectivity issues
• Coordinate with global IT support teams for escalated issues and system updates
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation of installations and changes
• Support video conferencing systems, printers, and other office technology
  
  

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in an engineering or project-based environment
• Not required but preferable, experience in using ServiceNow for assets management
  
  

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common enterprise applications
• Experience with Active Directory, network troubleshooting, and endpoint security
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and service desk operations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-cultural team
