Job Purpose:

Maintains plant process analyzers in a good condition to enable precise measurements readings and efficient production operability with minimum maintenance interruption. Carries out Preventative maintenance and Corrective (repair) work on site or in workshop of analyzers. Diagnoses faults, carries out, undertakes workshop testing, overhauling, and reconditioning.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Complies with SK policies and SHEM's procedures for analyzer related job as well as maintaining Quality Management System requirements, adheres to safety regulations including utilization of proper PPEs, adheres to Work Permit procedure, organizing of proper tools required for analyzer Maintenance.
  • Implements preventative maintenance program for process analyzer equipment in accordance to established schedule and guidelines from area supervisor and attends any breakdown or analyzer failure. Installs repaired, modified or new analyzer parts including disassembly components and carrying out validation tests using tools and testing equipment.
  • Conducts daily check for analyzers and troubleshoots faults on process analyzers. Checks sample points and examine programmed operational parameters to detect faults. Checks for sampling conditioning systems to confirm the reliability and continuous operation of analyzer system and to act proactively in case any defects. Checks for availability of necessary spear parts before starting the work. Assures the availability of utilities and gas cylinders (carrier /mixtures).
  • Observes all safety procedures, and exercises good housekeeping practices, keeping workshop and job sites clean and tidy. Obtains required work permits and exercise particular care and attention in ensuring that analyzer equipment are isolated prior to repair.
  • Performs other duties such as reporting job completion and any problems encountered to supervisor, obtaining tools and spare parts from warehouse. Maintains calibration reports records in MREDIUM.
  • Compliance to JQP Program and assures completion as per the plan. Takes care of all the given Communication tools such as Radio, portable analyzers, and tools, maintains in safe and good condition.

Requirements:

• Instrumentation & control technical Diploma Degree or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 3 Years in related field.
