Role Description:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Software and Business Architect with over 10 years of expertise in airline solutions, specifically with the Amadeus Altéa product suite and Amadeus development processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the airline industry's technical and business requirements and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions that align with our client's business goals.

Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Design and architect comprehensive software solutions using/interfacing to the Amadeus Altéa product suite.
  • Develop and model solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead technical teams in the development and implementation of industry solutions within passenger and operations related business areas
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and tools into existing systems.

Business Analysis and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop business cases and value propositions for new solutions and enhancements.
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to ensure solutions are best-in-class.

Project Management:

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that arise.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and oversee testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture and development within the airline industry.
  • Extensive experience with the Amadeus Altéa product suite and Amadeus development processes.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, reservations, inventory, and departure control systems.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, complex software solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and services.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the airline industry.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies and methodologies.
