Technical Services Director

A leading drilling contractor in Saudi Arabia is seeking a seasoned Director of Technical Services to lead its Engineering, Maintenance, and Marine operations. This is a strategic leadership role focused on optimizing offshore performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving technical innovation across the fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of engineering, maintenance, and marine compliance procedures.
• Oversee asset modifications and standardize engineering practices.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and technical tools.
• Maintain and enhance the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Administer the 5-year rig inspection and maintenance plan.
• Provide strategic input on maintenance budgets, procurement, and project planning.
• Ensure compliance with regional and international marine regulations.
• Support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies across offshore assets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in offshore design engineering, maintenance, and project management.
