Role Main Purpose

Responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and engineering projects by contributing to scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and team coordination. This role ensures timely delivery, quality standards, and regulatory compliance across all project phases.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Assist in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Support the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial constraints.
  • Identify and allocate required resources, ensuring efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams by assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Facilitate clear communication among team members to ensure alignment and minimize delays.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers to manage expectations and resolve issues.
  • Ensure proper implementation of project tasks in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Track project expenditures and apply cost control measures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Address and resolve any technical or quality-related issues that arise on-site.
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
  • Identify potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project risks and issues throughout the lifecycle, updating plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
  • Manage permits and support documentation processes.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation and records.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure effective communication of project status, changes, and challenges.
  • Address and mediate any conflicts within the project team, offering practical resolutions.

Educational Qualifications & Professional Certificates

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional Certificates: PMP Certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in project coordination or construction management, with hands-on involvement in planning, budgeting, team leadership, and field supervision.

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, budgeting, and scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, subcontractor management, and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and permitting processes.

Language & Computer Skills

    • Proficient in Arabic and fluent in English (written and spoken).
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Familiar with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Asana).
    • Knowledge of construction documentation and reporting tools.
