Your key duties
We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Tax Manager to join our finance team in Riyadh. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations and timely returns, overseeing tax reporting and audits, and delivering strategic tax guidance to support business operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and providing tax oversight for all Group entities involved in projects across Saudi Arabia, promoting best practices and compliance to both local and international regulations.

Your key duties
We are seeking a highly competent and proactive Tax Manager to join our finance team in Riyadh. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations and timely returns, overseeing tax reporting and audits, and delivering strategic tax guidance to support business operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and providing tax oversight for all Group entities involved in projects across Saudi Arabia, promoting best practices and compliance to both local and international regulations.
Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all applicable tax regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax. Coordinate with external tax advisors and government authorities to ensure accurate interpretation and application of tax laws.
- Tax Reporting & Filing: Prepare, review, and submit timely and accurate tax returns and statutory filings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Maintain comprehensive documentation to support all tax positions taken.
- Audit Management: Lead the preparation for and management of internal and external tax audits. Develop detailed audit schedules, respond to audit queries, and ensure timely resolution of any issues raised by auditors or tax authorities.
- Regulatory Monitoring & Advisory: Continuously monitor changes in local and regional tax legislation. Assess the impact of regulatory developments on the business and provide timely updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Policy & Process Development: Develop and maintain robust internal tax policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, procurement, and operations teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions. Provide guidance on tax implications of contracts, transactions, and new business initiatives.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate tax risks. Ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage tax exposures and maintain compliance with internal governance standards.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support the development of tax awareness across the organisation by delivering training sessions and providing guidance to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A recognised professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, or ACCA is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 7–8 years of progressive experience in tax management, ideally within the engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of KSA tax laws, including Zakat, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
- Familiarity with international tax principles and transfer pricing regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using tax compliance software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
