About The Team

The Systems Engineer role will be part of the Sales Engineering team at Nutanix, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This team is characterized by a collaborative culture that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. The team’s mission is to provide innovative technical solutions to clients, particularly in the finance and financial services industry, ensuring customers get tailored solutions that meet their specific needs and foster long-term partnerships.

You will report to the SE Team Lead, who adopts a business-oriented leadership style focused on achieving outcomes without micromanaging daily tasks. The team primarily operates in a hybrid work setup, allowing flexibility in where the work is completed. While team members spend significant time with clients, they can work from home or the office for back-office tasks as needed, without a strict requirement on how many days per week must be spent in the office.

This role requires travel outside of Riyadh, particularly to Jeddah, where some banking clients are located. The estimated travel requirement is around 25% within Saudi Arabia, with additional potential travel to Bahrain and Qatar as needed.

Your Role

  • Provide technical skill support to the sales team to close deals and win customers.
  • Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, channel, and marketing teams for effective customer engagement.
  • Deliver technical sales solutions, ensuring customer adoption and proper utilization of software.
  • Plan and execute customer visits to explore and understand business opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of core products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing to achieve collective success.
  • Achieve individual performance metrics tied to sales targets and customer engagement objectives.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data center and cloud solutions.
  • 5 years of presales experience in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in compute and storage virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of multi-cloud solutions and hyperscaler offerings.
  • Familiarity with VMware and automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Excellent presentation and customer interaction skills.
  • Understanding of business and sales cycles.
  • Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
