Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sustainability/LEED Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in sustainability practices within the aviation industry.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and manage LEED certification projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Conduct sustainability assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable design principles.
• Provide technical expertise on sustainability and green building practices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Prepare and submit documentation for LEED and Envision certifications.
• Educate and train staff on sustainability practices and LEED requirements.
• Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sustainability.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sustainability and LEED certification.
• Envision certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of LEED rating systems and certification processes.
• Experience with sustainability assessments and audits.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
