This role ensures employees at all levels are equipped to deploy the sustainability agenda and communicate our value proposition effectively.

By positioning sustainability competencies as a business enabler, you will help drive growth and empower employees to engage meaningfully on sustainability topics. In this position you can be based in any Tetra Pak location but in a Market Co.

What You Will Do

As our new Sustainability Competencies Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize critical competencies aligned with Tetra Pak’s sustainability strategy.
  • Identify knowledge and skill gaps; develop targeted training and learning assets.
  • Design and deliver learning campaigns to embed sustainability across organizational tracks.
  • Build and manage a comprehensive training plan using existing materials and new platforms.
  • Benchmark internal and external solutions to enhance capabilities that support business growth.
  • Establish and nurture a network of internal partners to drive skill development globally.
  • Tools & Asset Management
  • Develop and continuously improve tools (e.g., AI chatbot) to support customer-facing teams with relevant sustainability content.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to manage a centralized sustainability data library.
  • Ensure all assets are current, strategically aligned, and easily accessible to Market Operations and Sustainability teams.
  • Regularly update content based on regulatory, strategic, and product developments.
  • Communicate updates to ensure visibility and usability.

We believe you have

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of Tetra Pak’s strategy and operations.
  • Experience working across geographies and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High analytical and synthesis capabilities—able to translate complex sustainability topics into clear, actionable content.
  • Solid understanding of ESG, circularity principles, and climate risk regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Tetra Pak’s sustainable portfolio (Processing, Services, Packaging).
  • Project and program management experience.
  • Agile, collaborative style with the ability to adapt and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to build credibility with decision-makers and influencers, especially within Market Operations

We Offer You

  • A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape
  • A culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible results
  • An equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusion
  • Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangements
