Surveyor Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Surveyor Engineer to support our infrastructure and stormwater project in Jeddah. The role involves conducting and verifying land, topographic, and construction surveys to support design and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify site surveys, including setting out, leveling, and topographic data collection.
• Assist in maintaining survey benchmarks and control points throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review contractor survey data and ensure alignment with project specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
• Operate and maintain survey instruments such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Prepare survey reports, as-built data, and records for internal and client use.
• Support the senior surveyor or resident engineer in daily project-related surveying activities.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in surveying within infrastructure or stormwater projects.
• Proficient in using survey instruments and related software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica).
• Good understanding of survey standards and procedures used in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with engineering consultancies or project management firms is preferred.
