Our client is a major manufacturing Group in Saudi Arabia which supports a range of sectors including defence. With continued growth in this particular sector for a range of products and systems, they are seeking a NEW Supply Chain Program Manager to be based in Jeddah on an initial annual permanent basis to support the continuous evolution and execution of the Supply Chain strategy as well as lead and manage supply chain activities across the region, being accountable for maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Supply Chain function to meet their strategic objectives.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Supply Chain Program Manager will also:

- Support the development and execution of the supply chain strategy and work across functional teams to deploy these for the team, to meet performance goals (cost, schedule, Quality), growth targets, and customer satisfaction metrics.

- Advise and guide on supply chain matters and related program requirements and company policies and procedures.

- Coordinate and control of the flow of materials and services to meet local program requirements, including procurement, contracts, inventory control and distribution (i.e. shipping & receipting).

- Support financial management associated with supply chain activities (i.e. Budgets, material forecasts, etc).

- Support procurement activities, commodity management, inventory, distribution, and subcontract management processes (i.e. supplier performance, metrics, etc).

- Work across functional teams to develop and deploy Supply chain governance arrangements, including effective supplier due diligence and supply chain business systems, ensuring that these are aligned with company functional requirements.

- Identify supply chain risks and develops solutions.

- Develop, maintain, analyse and advise on supply chain metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives, cost effective outcomes, and financial savings and productivity improvements.

- Provide mentorship, guidance and support to less experienced members of the function across the program enable them to progress in the development of their careers.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of related management information systems, including ensuring all supplier agreements are included in appropriate databases, and that such databases are regularly reviewed for currency and accuracy.

- Develop and maintain partner relationship with key suppliers to enable the execution of industrialization goals and strategies.

- Perform other related duties as required

Working across differing products, services and materials, this role works closely with the existing management teams and supply chain department. You should have a minimum of 14-years' experience in a similar leadership role and have experience wherever possible of working within a defence and aerospace manufacturing environment where possible based on similar practices and activities.

You should have knowledge of supply chain requirements across a program lifecycle and understand supply chain program operations and financial management. This role has a high level of analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

This role will need to be able to support Saudi Arabian security clearances therefore consideration can only be made to certain nationalities (KSA, USA, India, Pakistan). The role may be required to move between our Clients' sites in Saudi Arabia as necessary as well as travel to engage with suppliers/customers as required.

You must be able to speak English to a professional level and where possible, speak Arabic - however this is not pre-requisite.

A range of benefits and allowances are provided along with a basic salary level - this would be paid in Saudi Arabian Riyals. Note, the successful candidate would ideally be available to start 45-days from offer acceptance. This is an URGENT requirement.
