Supply Chain Manager / Steel Fabrication

Overview

A leading small to medium-sized company in the manufacturing sector, specializing in steel fabrication is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, inventory/warehousing, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in steel fabrication and strong operational leadership capabilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy & Execution: Lead strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and negotiation to secure materials at competitive costs while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Warehouse & Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control policies, warehouse operations, materials handling, and stock accuracy to minimize waste and stockouts.
• Supply Chain Planning: Develop and manage demand forecasting, supply planning, and production coordination to align with business goals.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure performance and continuity.
• Cost Control & Efficiency: Monitor supply chain costs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership.
• ERP & Systems Integration: Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo) for procurement, inventory tracking, reporting, and process automation.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and internal controls while identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain.
